Blimey!

Well chaps, if this doesn't get you back here with a pithy comment or two, I don't know what will!  What a balls up, eh?

Read something somewhere along the lines of "Moores leaving is a good decision for bad reasons; Pietersen leaving is a bad decision for good reasons".

Sums it up quite neatly.

Complete fucking shambles, naturally - but that's to be expected when you let a professional captain the team.

Gentlemen only in the foreseeable, please...

According to reliable sources, the leak about the breakdown in relationships didn't come from KP, it came from.... Michael Vaughan!

As an intuitive but irrational England supporter, I've been detecting that something is up for a while, but been unsure what. But our KP is clearly right that the problem is picking 'professionals' to be England captain.

Ed Smith thinks that we've finally got the right England captain in Andy Strauss. I'm not so sure...I was banking on Ian Bell or Jimmy Anderson getting the job (actually, anyone who sorts those two twats out deserves a knighthood).

Anyway, if we'd had gone into the ashes with a settled team, looking like winners after pulverising the West Indies, we'd never have had a chance. At least this adds some 'spice'.

You should all have a look at the blog after Duncan Fletcher's article in the Guardian if you want to be cheered up (that is).

Harry McVea was asking me yesterday whether pietersen was, in fact, an egotisical twat. I attempted to explain that this wasn't exactly the case; that he was extremely single minded, driven etc etc. He replied: 'so he's like Roy Keane then'.

Actually, that's about right.

(Sorry to sully our little blog with any reference to the 'other sport').

KP has never, to my knowledge, sought, with malice of forethought, to ruin another professional's career through grievous assault.

KP may be full of himself but Keane is a cunt. Forget this not.

This from the Guardian blog. It all becomes clear...

"And if I could expund firther, at the root cause of this, like the root cause of so much conflict, is unrequited sexual longing. But not from Kev.

That's right. Harmy wants to do Fred. But Fred don't wnna do Harmy. I;ve long suspected Mrs Fred had the cold, dead eyes of a shark, seeking only the limelight and huge stackfuls of cash. The kids, it's all for OK magazine. Fred, deep down, wants to get frisky with some linseed oil and KP, but he's in denial. But it plays on his mind and he thinks, 'If I can't go down, I will take him down...' and he siezed the perfect chance.

Don't blame Kev. Don't blame Fred. Blame God for these damn animal urges."

Fred and KP - who'd be Arthur and who'd be Martha, do you think?

I'm back; and so much has happened!

1) I found myself rooting for SA! Whats that about? have i, as a 'bothering head of a&e told me would happen, finally found the righteous path?

2) furthermore, i don't hate smith! fuck, what wrong we me!

3) I do still, thankfully, dislike bell.

4) I think kp has to get some kudos for his recent actions. he realised, like the rest of us do, but apart from moore apparently, that bell had to go - and mv was the obvious choice. perhaps we should follow kp in having principles, go find bell, and through jellybeans at him until he goes away forever.

5) right, off to ikea for hotdogs with fish sauce-flavored mustard.
