is it just me, or did anyone else notice the first ball to croft going both ways in the air?

this raises an interesting point being made about that cunt, hayden. it has been mooted that his stats are flattering because the bowlers he faced were no good. (and when there were good ones around, like the start of his career, he was shit.) my point, is, however, a comparison with atherton - i think he was far better, but his stats are average - he did though, face some of the best attacks ever.

i also have a further problem - all my hatred was equally distributed between hayden and ponting. now its all on ponting, and the swearing is getting out of hand - sort of 'volcanic' every time i see his face. lisbeth says i have anger issues. its actually an issue with exposure to dickheads. i saw this coming though - it was in control when i could vent disgust at all the Australians, but with all this retiring it has become increasingly focused. i don't know any of the new players, so have nothing to dislike yet. i can't even dislike krijka - he's shite, and comparing him to the greats, and his subsequent rubbishness, makes me feel sorry for him. i even had the SAs to direct additional vitriol at, but now... i just hope i don't meet ponting on the street.

could someone please send data on warner so that i can at least dislike him.

Aye, it goes both way - Wasim was sensational.

There is no data on Warner - he's only just been created at a secret laboratory; he didn't exist a fortnight ago.

let us hope that ben's hatred is not sated, and that Warner is a poor man's Luke Wright...

By the way, David Gower IS innocent.

On the subject of hating Aussies, they've still got Ponting, Clarke Symonds and Clark.

And the Saffers still have Kallis, Boucher and Harris.

It's not a vintage crop a la, say, 2005 but it'll do for now.

And I think you'd agreed that even the most fertile ground has to lie fallow occasionally - we can rest assured there'll be a bumper harvest soon enough.

Eurrgh, just the phrase 'a poor man's Luke Wright' sends shivers. How poor is it possible to be? A poor man's Ian Austin?

A poor man's ricky clarke.
