Bloody IPL

Which from this list of money grabbing twats will get get signed up for the IPL?

Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Flintoff, Steve Harmison, Ravi Bopara, Monty Panesar, Robert Key, James Foster, Sajid Mahmood, Matt Prior, Ian Bell, Paul Collingwood, Owais Shah, Darren Gough, Ryan Sidebottom, Graeme Swann, Luke Wright, James Anderson, Ed Joyce, Dominic Cork

I thought Graeme Napier was supposed to be in there...

The only one's going into this with dignity are: Cork, Gough, Foster...possibly Key and Joyce.

Stuart Broad opts out of the IPL.

Given that he's the only person likely to get a place after Flintoff and Pietersen he's turned down a shit load of dosh. He cited the need to rest up for the ashes.

GOOD LAD!

HE CAN BE THE FIRST TO BE OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED 'NOT A TWAT' BY FETCH. WHO ELSE ISN'T A TWAT? IAN BELL NEEDS TO SCORE ABOUT 700 RUNS IN THE UP-COMING SERIES TO QUALIFY.

While we're posting pictures.   I spotted this one with the following caption.

ECB managing director Hugh Morris has expressed excitement at England's upcoming tour of South Africa.

Devon

Duminy played for Devon once. did they win anything that year?

also, if you think about the how some things are near, and other things are far - how big is sidebottom's head? - or does his giant hair give the illusions that his head is much bigger than the rest of the teams. the 'big three' appear to be himself (biggest) followed by pieterson and flintoff. ginger's head is pin-like. while shah's and priors are not big at all.

JP Duminy

He's class, isn't he?

Great fielder, versatile batsman with the ability to destroy or consolidate and still has that endearing naivety of a new arrival on the international scene.

Oh, and he seems to have ousted Ashwell Prince who is, I believe, the most boring cricketer (in purely cricketing terms, that is) I've ever watched at the crease, surpassing Tavare and even Kallis.

Blimey!

Well chaps, if this doesn't get you back here with a pithy comment or two, I don't know what will!  What a balls up, eh?

Pietersen resigns

Apparently Pietersen (no more KP, I'm afraid) has resigned.
