Hey, that's my birthday! Not the 1979 bit obviously.

Errr, did I miss the point?

yes. SA have called him up to their squad. So much for fucking depth: Harris, and, er, a Pakistan A dude (who is rather good, as it happens - we should have got him.)

By the way, Megafaun are rather good. listening to them right now. the other lot kris mentioned are irish.

check out the guitars on shakira's 'she wolf'. they sound even better if you watch the video (available on VH1 website).

Yeah, with all the weird stuff on that album they strike me as a country radiohead.

'She wolf' by Shakira also has a catchy bass line. But I should that, + the larry carlton style guitars is all that is going for this song (except the obvious). For another pop larry carlton sound alike, check out the solo on 'Murder on the dancefloor' by Sophie Ellis Bexter.

SA are well-known to have no spinners. Ben, I think that your experience in Australia has skewed your view of all other cricket teams!

That video is, ahem, alarmingly distracting.

Guitars good; song dreadful.

Imran Tahir is class. Can't see them picking him at the Wanderers, however.

Parnell looked amazing in the ODIs - depends whether he is ready for the step up to Tests. Think he'll get the nod.
